Challenge
Digital platforms often rely on self-reported identities, credentials, and reputation, making it difficult for users to distinguish authentic qualifications or participation from unverifiable claims. The challenge was to introduce blockchain-based verification without adding the complexity, terminology, or friction typically associated with Web3 products.
Objective
Design a high-fidelity product experience where users can naturally earn an SBT through a meaningful action and later use that credential to establish trust or unlock value. The experience needed to clearly communicate credibility and verification while allowing the underlying blockchain technology to remain largely invisible.
Results
Developed an end-to-end product concept and high-fidelity prototype demonstrating both the issuance and verification of non-transferable credentials. The final experience translated SBT infrastructure into an approachable trust mechanism, showing how decentralized credentials could create portable reputation without requiring users to understand blockchain technology.
